/ ALL OR NOTHING

In the end of February, it’s all or nothing for our teamrider Dorian van Rijsselberghe. The 2020 RS:X World Championships take place from the 23th to the 29th of February in Australia. For Dorian, it is the last chance to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

At the moment, two Dutch windsurfers hold the top two positions in the current RS:X rankings, but there’s only one person who can represent the Netherlands at the Olympics. The battle will be between Dorian and Kiran, his rival but also his teambuddy. While our double Olympic Champion, Dorian, won the World Championships in 2018, Kiran Badloe became the World Champion of 2019. Therefore, both Dutchies are still in the race for an Olympic ticket and the results of the 2020 World Championships will decide who’s going to represent the Netherlands at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

It’s all or nothing for Dorian. Good luck Champ!
